2007 Balgownie Estate Yarra Valley

On the nose it has roast meat, glace cherries, redcurrant Pinot fruit - not a hint of oak in sight. Its a light and Pinoty nose that is quite attractive in a simple, fragrant, early drinking style. The palate is full of cherry fruits but it ultimately tails off into a very simple light finish.
