2009 Belgravia Roussanne

We bottle our Roussanne only in exceptional years... it is a temperamental beast, and Bacchus must have been smiling on us in 2009. The palate is viscous yet refreshing; a paradox of balanced acid and creamy comfort. The texture of this wine is great with dishes of fishes, mezze plates and roast chicken. Showing its best on release, it revels in a holding pattern for its first 5 years of life and then develops nutty complexity.
